Our story
How Full Gospel Assembly grew from one congregation in Yangon to churches around the world.
Full Gospel Assembly began as one congregation on the top floor of a building on Merchant Road in downtown Yangon. It is still there, with four services every Sunday, a Tamil service on Saturdays, and a room full of people fasting and praying through the first ten days of every month.

Over the years our members moved: to Oklahoma, to Australia, to Singapore, Malaysia and southern Thailand. Wherever enough of them settled, they started meeting, and those gatherings became churches. Today there are eighteen, and they all share the same preaching, the same songs and the same habit of going out on Wednesday and Saturday mornings to tell people about Jesus.
“For it is written: ‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’” — Romans 14:11
